Most modern-day cars require the onboard computer systems to be recalibrated or reprogrammed once a battery has been changed. When the battery is changed without reprogramming the system responsible for the battery charging, the system is “unaware” of the change. It, therefore, treats the new battery as if it is the old one, overcharging it.
This will eventually lead to premature battery failure. At Motorhead Speed Shop, we will use our experience and advanced equipment to make all necessary adjustments to replace the battery and extend its life correctly.
