The brake system is complex and made of multiple elements. The friction components, such as brake rotors and pads, are part of the mechanical system. The hydraulic system also uses brake fluid pressure to stop the vehicle. However, with time, the hydraulic fluid draws moisture from the air into the brake system creating corrosion, poor hydraulic pressure, a “spongy” pedal feel, and low braking power. This might lead to an accident on the road and increase the wear of the entire brake system. It is, therefore, necessary to change the brake fluid every two years.
